INSIDE CHILIZ/ CHILIZENS UPDATE #7
Dear chilizens,
We’ve had a good start to the year and I’m looking forward to the launch of the Socios.com platform and mobile app powered by the chiliz ($CHZ) token. It’s an incredibly exciting time for us as we plan out a solid marketing strategy, but more importantly execute our plans.
Since our last chilizens update, we have gone global by opening offices in Singapore for South East Asia and Buenos Aires for Latin America. This allows us to strengthen Socios.com around the world and be able to target the hundreds of millions of sports fans, and in particular football fans, based in those regions.
Our offices in Singapore are located within the BitTemple offices, that also have an office within the chiliz Blockchain Campus. In Latin America, the office, based in Buenos Aires is run by Marcelo Santurio, our new Head of Business Development in LatAm.

We are currently focusing on three main areas:
· Product: After much hard work by our product development team, we now have an app that allows users to understand and how Socios.com will work. It gives us the chance to showcase the product and better explain what we are all about. As some of you may have seen, I showed this app on Twitter, and received some fantastic feedback.
· Content: Our customer offering is essential and something we take very seriously. Our aim is to have the widest range of sports organizations and clubs possible, within a substantial product offering. After Paris Saint-Germain & Juventus, we will announce our next teams (Spain, Germany, UK, etc …) closer to the launch of our app.
· Distribution: We are currently working on some joint-ventures and strategic partnerships to secure proper distribution of the app, especially in the telecoms & media industries, to successfully reach reach local markets.
We’ve had a few new starters including our Football Partnerships Manager Oleg Derichev; Clive Russell will join the team as a UK Partnership Consultant while Se Yi, our new Chinese Communications and Marketing Executive, joins our Marketing & Communications team.
It was a pleasure to be a speaker at the Beyond Blocks Summit in Bangkok, the Blockshow in Singapore and the Binance Blockchain Week over the last few weeks, all of which were well attended and a testament to the popularity of Blockchain and its proliferation.
The chiliz token has now been certified by CertiK, which is a formal verification framework to mathematically prove that smart contracts and blockchain ecosystems are bug-free and hacker-resistant. First and foremost, this helps us in our listing process.

When it comes to token distribution, all of our direct contributors have successfully received their tokens which now allows us to focus on a token release strategy that will work in conjunction with the launch of the Socios.com app. In the meantime, we decided to ‘pause’ the smart contract to avoid transactions before the commercial launch of the app/token.
As I’m sure some of you may have seen, we will be a partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards for the next two years, that will give us fantastic exposure across the UK and Europe. This awards show, in particular, brings together the best and the brightest of the sports industry and Socios.com voting technology will be used at next year’s ceremony.

In terms of business development, we are working on a strategy that has given us the confidence to continue bridging the gap between the mainstream audience and cryptocurrency.
Following the end of the Chinese New Year, the markets have stabilized as expected and we will begin to communicate more and more as we move closer to the launch of the app.
That’s all for me for now. If you don’t already do so, make sure to follow me on Twitter and all our social media channels….
Thanks,
Alex.
