Maglietta leaves position as Associate Director at Infront Sports to lead partner acquisitions for’s biggest vertical

ZUG, SWITZERLAND SEPT 24ND:, the leading blockchain provider for the global sports industry, have announced the appointment of Daniel Maglietta as their Head of Football Partner Acquisition.

Maglietta concluded a string of strategic deals with major sporting properties across the world in his capacity as Associate Director at Infront. Maglietta also has expertise in the blockchain sector, having recently supported on several high-profile partnerships between leading exchange platform and some big names from the sports industry.

As part of’s global partner acquisition team, Maglietta will be responsible for bringing new partners onboard across the football industry as the company looks to launch Fan Tokens with many more clubs in the years to come.

Fan Tokens are digital assets that allow holders to access influence, VIP experiences, rewards, games, exclusive content, chat forums and competitions on Powered by Chiliz $CHZ, Fan Tokens have bridged the mainstream divide in spectacular fashion pioneering a generational shift in how fans engage with their favourite sports teams. More than 60 major sporting organisations have partnered with, including the likes of FC Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Arsenal and Manchester City. Both Inter Milan and Valencia CF will promote their Fan Tokens from the front of their shirt for the 2021/22 season. MMA giants UFC have launched a Fan Token, as have Aston Martin Cognizant and Alfa Romeo Racing of F1. Leading esports teams, 11 major NBA franchises and high profile partners from cricket can also be found on’s ever expanding roster of partners.

Chiliz has 160+ employees globally, a number set to hit 200 by the end of 2021. The company has opened new regional headquarters in Madrid, Istanbul and São Paulo and will open a new North American office in the near future.
