Cats have always been known as such elusive creatures. You can never tell what they’re thinking… until now. Meow-ve over One Direction

The days of the boy band are gone. Welcome the age of the all-cat band with the debut of Japanese pop group SHINee. The stylish members ONEWNyan, JONGNyan, KEYNyan, MINONyan and TAEMINyan entered the music world earlier this month with their first release “Kimi No Sei de for cat”. Commuting is never usually a fun experience however a group of cat lovers are about to make your daily grind a lot more enjoyable. Citizens Advertising Takeover Service (C.A.T.S) have started a Kickstarter campaign to replace Tube ads with pictures of cats. Donate £30 and you’ll receive a cat t-shirt and for a mere £100 your own moggie gets to appear on a gigantic poster. (Source: Evening Standard)

It all began as an April Fool’s joke but now Marai the ginger tabby has secured himself a full-time job at Russia’s Serpukhov Museum of History and Art. Hired as the Museum’s official doorman, the cat has been put on the payroll — accepting payment of meatballs and caviar. (Source: Mail Online)

Cat got your… mail?

Dogs and postmen are well-known enemies but a news story surfaced this month revealing that cats may also pose as hazardous encounters for poor postmen. A couple in Bristol have been warned by the Royal Mail to restrain their cat if they want to keep receiving letters in the post due to its tendency to snatch mail with its claws.
