As if there wasn’t enough news coming out of 10 Downing Street, it was a shock to hear Larry the resident cat making the headlines too.

Larry, Number 10’s official chief mouser was spotted limping back home in the morning of last Wednesday 20th July.

There is some speculation that Larry clashed with Westminster mouser, Palmerston who resides at the Foreign Office. An alternative theory is that he came off worse after taking on a fox. The investigation continues.

With Larry being ordered to stay in bed for the next seven days by his vet, Palmerston may take the chance to vie for top job in yet another Downing Street coup.

With tensions running high, it looks like the chief mouser could do with the help of Feliway Classic to help calm him down and feel safe and secure in his home. Feliway Classic is a synthetic copy of the feline facial pheromone (odourless to people and other animals) that cats leave behind when they rub their faces on the furniture, doorways, people’s legs and other objects in the home.

If you’re seeing aggression between cats in a multi-cat household, then Feliway Friends could be beneficial. Feliway Friends is a synthetic copy of the cat appeasing pheromone (CAP) naturally produced by a nursing mother to her kittens after birth. This pheromone helps the kittens feel safe and secure and promotes a bond between them and their mother. Feliway Friends is clinically proven to help reduce tension and conflicts between cats in multi-cat households.
