Greater Bay Area (GBA) in China is the area around the Pearl River Delta which includes the Guangdong Province, HongKong, and Macau. Chinese government announced a blueprint including technology investments in renewal energy and EV to make the area a green region. (link)

Robotic process automation startup Cyclone raised approximately $10m Series A from DCM Ventures and Source Code Capital.

Chinese IoT cloud platform, RootCloud, raised Series B financing.

Tencent invested in Zhenkunghan, an online marketplace for industrial products. This is Series D for the company. Other investors include Genesis Capital, Legend Capital, Tiger Global Management, and Royal Dutch Shell.

Chinese e-cigarette maker and brand, Snowplus, raised $40m.

Leju Robtics, a robotics R&D firm, raised additional funding from Tencent and other investors.

Haoqipei, an online marketplace for auto repairs and parts, raised $60m from SIG Asia Investments, XVC, Jeneration Capital, DCM Ventures, and Access Technology Ventures.
