According to the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, iPhone shipment increased 6% year over year. As part of the iPhone 11 release, Apple adjusted pricing, monthly payment model, and trade-in service in China to further entice local customers. (link)

Alibaba made $38.4 billion in revenues during an one-day campaign on November 11 (11/11), known as the Singles’ Day sale. Brick and mortar commerce is also growing in China. Retailers, seeing continued appetite for experiential shopping in China, have rolled out new retail formats incorporating augment reality and real-time gameplay. (link)

At a recent tech conference, president of Guangzhou Automobile Group said that autonomous driving technology is still early for the entire automotive industry but the future is still autonomous driving. (link)
