Chingu Weekly 36
Another project ride through the collective industriousness of Chingu members! Grab a Yerba Mate tea and go wild!

News & Random
— Congratulations Matthew who got his DREAM job as a software developer last week!!!
— Congratulations @tarryn who got Accepted into Lambda University's CS-Degree PROGRAM!
— Listening to suggestions from members/Cohort-Leads and seeing so many people who have worked on team projects get jobs, we’ve decided to spend some time focusing on projects and figuring out the best way possible to facilitate those remote dev team adventures (because they are hard)! The next session is going to be called Summer Voyage and it will be entirely focused on remote dev team projects! All existing members will be able to apply via #chingu-news in Central.
And don’t worry, in September we’ll be opening some up our traditional smaller cohorts again. :)

Overheard in Chingu
I was born and brought up in small Himalayan town of India
There was an ambulance driving by their house last time I visited my parents. The neighbor promptly took their car out, and went in the same direction And what do you know, when the ambulance returned, the neighbor was behind them aswell..
My interests? Reading, gaming, and coding

Quotes to Go
This week’s quotes are from the legendary Grace Hopper.
If it’s a good idea, go ahead and do it. It’s much easier to apologize than it is to get permission.
Humans are allergic to change. They love to say, ‘We’ve always done it this way.’ I try to fight that. That’s why I have a clock on my wall that runs counter-clockwise.
Thank you for reading this week’s Update! Cheers and thanks for the 💚!
