Diving into the new year
Hello avid learners!
I hope everyone has had a great New Year Celebration (or a much needed break) and is READY to dive into 2017 with Michael-Phelps-like intensity!
I’ve got a good feeling about this year. And seeing this video helped a lot with that. Big shout outs to everyone who participated, and especially Alecia (who helped to gather the video clips) and @oansky, who did a wonderful job editing the video and making it what it is! This was a lot of fun so we’re hoping to do more of this in the future. :)
Another BIG shout-out to Parminder Singh (@trion) who designed the coding puzzle quest! A lot of people have messaged saying it was both challenging/rewarding, and “please make another”. So thanks @trion!
Now that the holidays are over, we’re going to be back to our regular programming next week with the Weekly Update. Keep your eyes open next week, as we’re going to be unveiling some intriguing projects/opportunities coming in 2017.
Until then, here’s a quote or two:
“I’m a learning machine and this is the place to learn.” — Tony Robbins”
“The host asked (Warren)Buffet, ‘What habits did you cultivate in your 20s and 30s (and 40s and 50s and 60s)that you see as the foundation of success?’ Buffet answered, ‘You’ve got to be able to communicate in life it’s enormously important. Schools, to some extent, underemphasize that. If you can’t communicate and talk to other people and get across your ideas, you’re giving up your potential.’”
Discipline = freedom. — Jocko Willink
HAPPY CODING!
