To all my followers, wherever you are, I’d like to welcome you to Chocolate Socrates.

A few short words I want to say before you continue on with your day:

  1. I get it, you think you know what you want, but it’s not true. You don’t know what you want, no one ever does, it’s not about knowing what you want, it’s about knowing why you want it, never confuse the two, in reality there is nothing worth wanting unless it has value. And what’s more valuable to yourself than you?
  2. We are all searching for something beyond ourselves, something more real and more true than just ourselves… something that gives our lives meaning a part from ourselves, something that allows us for a moment be immortalized by what we do in life not by who we are in life.
  3. The life you think you are living, is not the one you’ll ever live. In life, we always think we know what’s best for us, and we think we know what it is we should be doing within every given moment, but the truth is we live in our heads more times than not… forgetting that to be alive it actually means living. Embrace the unknown.
  4. Only when you free your mind will you begin to realize what is possible, Sure the world is the way it is, but if you think for a second that life has not been significantly influenced by the ideas of a very few people; you’ll realize how the most free minds, have freed us all.
  5. There’s beauty in the world and very few people will ever get to see it. Because we live our lives developing associations and attachments to things, if we never knew anything about the world being beautiful we’d never see it as such because we’d have no association of it with beauty. We would not understand what it means to see beauty in the world… but that’s where we are all wrong, its not about seeing beauty in the world, or finding beauty in the world, it’s about knowing beauty exist and like a child searching for it in everything especially if you do not know where to start looking for it to begin with.

Thanks and don’t forget to follow Chocolate Socrates for more
