“Don’t kill him!” urges Naya. “He should face justice.”

You hesitate.

“Yeah,” says Tox’ar. “But we need to hurry after Polki.” You can see, glancing around, that the goblin is gone — at least one orc has managed to take their captive further into the mountains…

“Let’s tie Zaroph here,” you say. “Come back when Polki’s safe.”

Naya reaches into a magical-looking pouch and hands you a length of fine rope.

“Nice!”

Soon you have tied Zaroph hand and foot on the ledge. It doesn’t look comfortable. And the rain his coming on. But perhaps it’s the least he deserves…
