Sinister laughter approaches.
Lorenzo appears with a smile and a clenched fist. Your heart beats uncontrollably as he draws near. He opens his hand, and your pulse returns its normal pace.
“Well, well.” He sneers down at you. “Looks like someone’s learned a valuable lesson.”
You remain prostrate on the ground, depleted, suddenly remembering the axe in your possession. Lorenzo stands over you, a perfect opportunity to strike.
The blood mage curls his fingers and your pulse instantly skyrockets.
“Escape again, and I’ll burst every blood vessel in your body .” Lorenzo grins. “Swear your loyalty, and I’ll consider letting you live.”
