Lorenzo detects the axe flying towards his head.
Instinctively, he crouches and puts his hand up to block the incoming weapon. The axe tumbles through the air, rotating head over handle. The blade connects with Lorenzo’s outstretched hand and lops off a few of the wizard’s fingers.
The weapon is knocked off-course and misses the vile sorcerer’s face by less than an inch.
“Argh, you brainless dullard!” Lorenzo seethes, grasping his maimed hand and glaring at you.
“You’re going to suffer once I fix this!”
You waste no time responding, but instead get to your feet and run for the trees.
