“To the mines!” you shout.

The villagers react straightaway, flooding towards a boarded-up entrance near the mountain. The guardsman has the boards removed and people begin streaming into the mine. The guard guides the way with a flaming torch, your group of companions separated by a crowd of peasants.

You are engulfed in darkness, surrounded by a host of murmuring voices. An orange glow bobbing in the distance leads the way deeper into the gloom.

Screams pierce the muttering, and a clash is heard. Peasants retreat and you see a swarm of eyes reflecting the light of the fallen torch.
