Tox’ar leads the way. With his guidance, you emerge an hour later, among the trees.

The lizardman points to the mountains, and you see a high rope bridge. Polki is captive, being led away by a squad of orcs.

“Polki is prince among goblins,” says Tox’ar urgently. “If we rescue him, we could get a company of goblin warriors to come and help. It would turn the tide.”

You look to the village. A familiar elf is leading their defence, firing flaming arrows.

“Perhaps,” you say, beginning to run. “Let’s get to the village, then see how things stand, Tox’ar!”
