I have to apologize, because for some degrees, the way that business working with programmer today is my fault, well it’s my generation fault.

Because, we basically, in the dark ages of 1970, we could write code with customer. A large application would be only 1000 lines of code or 2000, it’s not a big deal.

We got bigger and bigger, we sort of tell the customer “Go away, it will take long time for us to do this” and they went away, and they wrote some requirements for us.

And we get more and more sophisticated about how far away they should be from us. We got a layer and layer between us, project, office, business analyst, all sort of that stuff.

Now this agile stuff come along, we try to work in smaller unit and we say come talk to us, and they say “why should we talk to programmer”.

Oh, the Irony
