I’m Stuck.

I came to my office about 2 hours ago to type this blog. I wanted to come in and type something profound or practical that will help you move forward in your ministry.

I couldn’t think of what to type. Can a person who has only written a handful of blogs already have writers block?? Maybe so. I don’t know!

So, I sent my wife a text. I said, “I’m Stuck.”

She said, “Perfect.”

WHAT? Perfect? Yep. Then she encouraged me to write about that.

So here I am, writing about that.

Have you felt what I feel now? I’m sure you have!

How many times do you feel stuck? How many times have you attempted to do something and you just drew a blank? It happens to all of us. That’s the beautiful thing, those moments — no matter how frustrating, are a reminder of how dependent on God we need to be.

If the vision of what you are doing is something you can handle all on your own, then that vision is probably too small. That’s average. If you’re like me, you don’t want average.

I like what Jon Acuff said in his book called, “Start”

The only thing you have to do on the average path is not die.

I don’t want to live that kind of life. I want to live a life where I am completely dependent on God even when it’s awkward or when I feel stuck.

Just like my wife was there to help me see something, I want to be there for you. If there’s any way I can help, let me know by emailing me.
