Modern day technology has come so far advanced that social media platforms such as Instagram are currently taking young men and women’s identity and will power. Celebrities have a huge impact on younger people, especially on Instagram. Kylie Jenner is a huge celebrity and has 146 million followers on Instagram. If many young female users see her using the next flat tummy tea then it’s going to persuade majority of those young women to go out and buy that new flat tummy tea. These easily influenced type of followers are a huge reason her cosmetics line is doing so well and she profited millions on it. She’s a big celebrity and young women often think she’s beautiful so if they see her wearing a certain make-up then they too want to be beautiful and go out and purchase that make-up and wear it. Scholars actually conducted research and the findings show that celebrities on Instagram are influential in the purchase behavior of young females according to the article https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0747563216307506.

It’s like Instagram is changing people’s identity literally. It’s starting to become so bad that more and more younger women are having medical plastic surgeries done just so they can be the next Instagram model. Having natural curves as a woman aren’t in style any more, if you don’t go out and spend thousands of dollars on a new butt or pair of breasts then you aren’t relevant or pretty. That’s obviously what every young woman thinks nowadays, especially after logging onto their Instagram and seeing celebrities like Kylie Jenner or Bella Hadid flaunting their new pair of fake lips to the easily persuaded new generation of women in the world.

Insta-famous is a newer word meaning being known across the world via Instagram. Guys like @FatBoy and @HaHaDavis came a long way building names for themselves on the well-known social media platform. Fat Boy has about 5.6 million followers on Instagram and HaHa Davis has about the same. Both are considered Instagram comedians and found fame and a name for themselves in a positive way all from Instagram. Other younger men on Instagram are all about having clout. These younger dudes or clout chasers will literally cause harm to themselves or someone else for the fame or clout. You have guys like @Stevewilldoit on Instagram who will literally do anything for clout. Steve built a name for himself with over 1.5 million followers by actually downing half gallons of alcohol in literally 10 seconds. This is literally the definition of a fame crazed idiot.

I honestly don’t think that this generation will ever say no when it comes to the latest trends. How are you supposed to truly find yourself when you’re constantly trying to be like someone else or literally do anything to please others. We literally have a world full of younger women altering their bodies drastically to feel the void of not only their own but everyone else around them insecurities.
