Don’t Reject Knowledge
28th SEPTEMBER 2022
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. [Hosea 4:6 NKJV]
Recognise or acknowledge the anointing of finance and apply yourself to the kingdom principles. All of us are in dire need of knowledge of finances. This is true whether you know it or not. If it was not so, God wouldn’t invest the lives of those who have gone ahead of us to provide us with the insight to learn from.
This is why we need to also invest our time to learn as much as we can. It is said that knowledge is power, and others have modified it to say applied knowledge is power. Whichever be the case, for us as believers, we have an inherent power by reason of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The sad thing is, we stay away from knowledge because of the conviction of the power we have. But that’s not what God intended, that’s not what He wants.
He says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” The disturbing part of the statement by God is when He said, “because you have rejected knowledge.” This shows that the lack of knowledge that is destroying God’s people, even financially, is not the unavailability of knowledge, but an outright rejection of it. If those who have it and reject it are destroyed, what do you think happens to those who aren’t even making the effort to find it, let alone make a decision to reject or keep it?
Buy books, attend conferences and make good use of YouTube, and podcasts, among other channels’ to broaden your financial literacy skills. Have a Financial Prosperity Vision. Wherever you want to arrive, there must be a vision that is powered by the anointing and the requisite knowledge to arrive there.
Heavenly Father, forgive me for rejecting knowledge. As I set out to find and buy knowledge, please direct me to all the sources that will add to me in righteousness. I refuse to be destroyed, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
