God is Good

You are kindhearted, and you do good things, so teach me your laws. [Psalms 119:68 CEV]
Today, we have a pretty straightforward message from God to you. As young people, we need to understand that having a comprehension of who God is, directly affects our prayer life. We must know that who God is, determines His dealings with men. His character is what determines His actions.
The Bible makes us understand that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. God is gracious and also does good. We must come to God each day with this understanding. He just does not do good things, but His nature itself, is kind-heartedness.
He is good means He is loving, pleasant, sweet, beautiful and kind. Because of His nature, He does only good things. The Bible says, “God is love” and that is exactly who He is. Your confidence in Him as a prayer answering God must come from the revelation that He is indeed, by His nature, a loving Father.
We must approach God through prayer each day knowing that He is good and performs only good things. How you perceive Him would determine how He comes through for you. Your conclusion of God after anything you go through should be that He is good and does good.
No matter what comes your way and the challenges you may face, you must always bear in mind that your God is good and does good.
Heavenly Father, I’m grateful that you are a good God; one who gives only good things to His children. Grant me the grace to always see You as You really are; a good Father.
