God’s Glory Revealed To All
11th OCTOBER 2025
And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. [Isaiah 40:5 NIV]
The word glory in our focal scripture comes from the Hebrew root kâbôd, which conveys honour, splendour, dignity, reputation, abundance, and riches. To encounter the glory of God is to experience the full weight of His excellence, majesty, and abundance. God desires that every single person would encounter and be transformed by His glory.
Yet, when we look at the world today, this glory is not what we encounter on a daily basis. Scripture reveals that the enemy has blinded the minds of the lost, preventing them from seeing the radiant light of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4). It is the gospel that causes light to burst forth in our lives, revealing the beauty, excellence, and splendour found in Christ.
Darkness inhibits sight. No matter how beautiful your surroundings are, if there’s a blackout with no backup power, you cannot see or enjoy them. In the same way, those who do not know Christ, the Light of the world (John 8:12), remain unable to perceive the glorious life God has prepared for them.
Many people are not experiencing God’s glory because believers have failed to share the Good News. The gospel carries the power to bring salvation to the lost (Romans 1:16). Darkness cannot overcome light (John 1:5); in fact, darkness only exists where light is absent. We must therefore be intentional and passionate about sharing the gospel, so that others may encounter the glory of the Lord.
When people experience God’s glory, transformation follows. His splendour, essence, and abundance restore homes, renew hearts, and shift the values of entire generations to reflect His Kingdom.
Prayer: Thank You Lord that You desire to reveal Your glory to all men. Give me the passion and courage to share the gospel with others so that they can encounter Your glory. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
