Our Place is in His Vision

As a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a man who wanders from his place. [Proverbs 27:8 AFV]
A man who operates opposite to his God-given purpose can be likened to square pegs which do not fit in round holes. When God created us, He purposely and uniquely skilled and gifted us not for our use but for His glory.
There is a longing in every regenerated man to fulfil God’s purpose. Unfortunately, the cares of this world and other distractions place us in compromising situations which cause us to abandon God’s path for our lives. This is why we need the Holy Spirit in our daily walk. He works as a guide to lead us to the completion of our ministry or God-given purpose.
When we are on the right path, the enemy works against us strongly. He works very hard to abort God’s plans for our lives or leads us astray which in turn will amount to us spending all our time doing the wrong things.
When Jesus walked on earth He was opposed and tempted by the devil in an effort to keep Him from the cross. The devil gave Him many shortcuts and easier ways out to prevent Him from fulfilling His ministry, however, Jesus did not for a second get confused about His role here on earth.
Purpose is essential in your quest to please God. For you to be very certain about your purpose on this earth, you need to rely on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you to the right places at the right time. Even if you live this life having all your wants met, remember that fulfilling God’s purpose is more important than other achievements.

We should also think like William did. We must complete our works on earth through the help of the Holy Spirit. Selah
Heavenly Father, You are our only helper, please lead us to fulfil our purpose here on earth, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
