Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children. The reason the world doesn’t recognize who we are is that they didn’t recognize him. [1 John 3:1 TPT]

Jesus loves us so intensely, that He went as far as dying and going to Hell for us. He loves us with such a deep passion, that He did not want us to suffer the consequences of our own disobedience. Wow! What a love! The best love story if one should ask. A love that has a victorious end.

His love truly has no boundaries. The world would never understand this mystery of a God dying for humans because they don’t know what manner of God He is. The Father’s love supersedes the world’s understanding. The world fails to recognise us as children of God because when He came to be in their midst, they did not recognise Him either. He was right before their eyes, yet they failed to see.

By all standards, as mere men, we are nowhere near God’s awe, yet He calls us His children. He has chosen to identify with us in a very special way. As His children, He is responsible for our welfare and wellbeing. That is why we walk in victory.

Our victory over the world and the devil is rooted in our identity. We are victorious because we are God’s children. God has invested His love in us, believers, and therefore we cannot fail. We don’t fight to win this victory; we fight to maintain the victory we already have.

The scheme of the devil is to capitalise on our ignorance. What we do not know, we cannot claim. Our key to victory over the devil is found in how much we know of God’s love for us. God loves you with an everlasting love, and this is a great triumph for you.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Help me by Your Spirit, to walk in love towards everyone at all times.
