Walk with Understanding

The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. Proverbs 21:16 KJV
The primary responsibility of every leader is to lead by example. A leader’s life is a witness and a testimony to the people who follow, to encourage them to keep on in the faith.
The calling of God comes with an equipping or enablement to do. The call to leadership is enabled by knowledge and understanding. Knowledge is for leaders of understanding. Understanding comes as leaders humble themselves under authority, learn and follow hard!
Yes, every leader is a follower, and humility is a companion to the leader who follows. Take time to answer these questions for yourself. Who am I following? Have I humbled myself to keep learning?
Without understanding, knowledge becomes weary to the soul. Every leader needs to understand what they are about and be diligent in their ways. An example of this is for every leader to learn to task their day and plan out their week to enable them to achieve a glorious year. In doing so, they save themselves and those who follow from the congregation of the dead.
Dear God, I lay off every weight of pride and humble myself under the authority You have set me under and follow diligently.
