”The fountain of life flows from you to satisfy me. In your light of holiness we receive the light of revelation.“ [Psalms‬ ‭36‬:‭9‬ ‭TPT]

Our opening scripture offers us a clear path to follow when it comes to understanding and fulfilling God’s vision. We will appreciate the vision of our Father when we first yearn to know Him. As our creator, He has the blueprint and knows how best we can function. By default, our environment structures our minds to be result-oriented, which is not wrong. What is usually taken out of the picture is we being taught to know ourselves and what we are able to do or not do.

In God, satisfaction does not come after results. Clearly, He does not want it that way. Before God commanded us to go into the world and preach the Gospel, He gave us Christ as a gift. He satisfied us with life; the light of men; Jesus, even before we considered honouring His command.

We can only do well from a place of being satisfied in God. We do not work for Him before He satisfies us; He rather satisfies us so we can work for Him.

Our continuous engagement with God in prayer, the Word and fellowship with other lovers of Jesus gives us a steady revelation of what our Heavenly Father expects of us.

Our understanding of our Father’s vision stays intact when we prioritize drinking from His fountain of life. His word is life, there is a lot of insight to gain in our walk as disciples of Jesus. God’s revelation is the true guiding light. God’s essence is faithfulness, against the loud antagonizing opinions in our world, God’s revelatory light will always lead us in the path of truth.

Lord Jesus, thank You for satisfying me with the Holy Spirit. Open my eyes to see Your light even as I grow daily in my knowledge of You.
