You Can Do It.

“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose — I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭AMP

For all the times that life looked overwhelming, making you think you are incapable of accomplishing the things you have planned, you actually had the strength in you to do it. Even when you were called to be responsible for very challenging tasks, and it may have looked as though you were failing, God had the ultimate say. Luke 1:37 reminds us that, there is nothing that God cannot do. So why let the standards of this world weigh you down? You can change that today because you have the strength of God in you.

When God called you to your current status, be it a role you play in church or at your job, He had a plan for how to go about it. So why don’t you ask Him for the “hows” you are looking for? Everything you will ever need on this journey called life, God has given it to you, and did so in abundance. The word of the Lord says in 2 Peter‬ ‭1:3, “His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” Thus, we are fully equipped for the present and what is even yet to come. Stop dallying in the deceits of your mind, stand by your faith and claim your authority. You can do it.

We have held ourselves captive because we have surrendered the power to determine situations to addictions and the status quo of our day. The inability to escape the shackles of our past that haunts us, just as the constant doubt of our faith, that weariness that has grown on us because of our job. Even our dedication to the church, which is now like a burden to us instead of a privilege, and the fear of the future that God has the power to control. All these things torment us one way or the other. But remember, greater is He who lives in you than he who lives in the world because you are of God. Therefore, you can overcome all things. Let not this world, like the devil, determine things for you when it has no right to.

What you have now is all you need for the present challenge you are faced with.

Philippians‬ ‭1:6‬ says, “I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” So if today, you are facing anything that seems to be challenging, remember that you have the grace and strength of the Lord in you to overcome it all.

Heavenly Father, please help me to know how to make do with little, and know how to make do with much. In all circumstances, may I be content and help to never forget that I am able to do all things through You, my strength.”
