The Prince of Egypt was a Christian cartoon produced and released by Dreamworks Pictures. It was a surprise to me that it was not Disney. Dreamworks did a wonderful job on the animated film about Moses. It was a great biblical epic and musical. It was more than a cartoon. It was a Bible story of Moses animated with great characters, song, and movement. It’s a cartoon you might watch more than once. The film was released in theaters on December 18, 1998. According to Wikipedia, it is DreamWorks Animation’s only traditionally animated film to win an Oscar and one of the four DreamWorks Animation films to be nominated for more than one Oscar.
