As we continue with our study on THE CRUCIFIED LIFE, it is necessary to reiterate the need to expose ourselves in order to break free from the bondage of our old life.

God has so ordained that none of us can survive without the contributions of a Spiritual leader over us, hence it becomes necessary that we do not try to hide our old identity from such leaders if we want to survive the Christian life. They are the best persons to relate with at the point of evacuation.

You should be bold to declare the death of your old man. As long as you have ascertain the death of the old man in you, the next thing to do is to practically bring this truth to reality.

One of the practical ways of doing this is to intentionally take note of the manifestations of the flesh in your life, especially the ones that aren’t known to people and expose them. Usually, this should begin from the inward manifestation.

Your freedom lies in your ruthless dealings with yourself: expose yourself; mark your old sinful friends and make a clear cut of any relationship with them. Explain to them the spiritual journey of the cross you’ve experienced, let them know you are dead, tell them the new man that you are now. This is a step of faith in entering into the reality of the Crucified life.

There’s a new man within you, and He must be introduced to the world around you. Though you died, yet you live still. This is the Paradox of the crucified life. It may sound contradictory or untrue, yet it’s the reality.

We must be careful to exercise this new man at every juncture of life. Remind yourself of the death of the old man and the glory of resurrection that brought the new man. By doing this you give yourself a solid ground to live a victorious life.
