We have seen mercy and grace as the root of walking with God. We have also seen the evidence of grace in a life that found grace. Grace does not only make one unique among the children of men in lifestyle only it also make one to labour abundantly, exceptionally and steadfastly beyond other labourers.

Genesis chapter six gives an account of the terribleness of human wickedness and corruption such that God was tormented so grievously and concluded to destroy the world then. Noah was found and appointed by God to labour.

Labouring with God and for God is only possible in a graceful life. For ministry is an outflow of the inner life of the minister. When the minister is graceless; he is dead and the outflow of his life which is ministry will be death. When he is graceful; the outflow of his life which is ministry will be life and spirit.

Note that genuine labour of a graceful life begins from his home. Noah gave birth to his three sons in the midst of the evils in his days and by the divine energy of grace that saved, sanctified and seasoned his life he laboured to make his sons live unalloyed life himself lived with his wife.

“And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;” (2 Pet. 2:5KJV)

The Holy Spirit in the scripture above showed that Noah was a preacher of righteousness. By implications, there were other preachers who were graceless, lived like other criminals and corrupt agents of there days but preached but unrighteous messages assuring others like them peace when Noah was talking about the wrath to come, the flood.

Noah constructed the ark in line with God’s specification as divine means of escaping from the wrath to come if they will turn from their wickedness and he kept labouring for one hundred and twenty years preaching righteousness and other three female converts and disciples aside from his household who eventually became his daughters in law. He laboured on until flood came according to the word of God that came to Noah.

Beloved, if you have found grace it must be evidently seen in your unique way of living and labouring to winsome and watching for the coming of the coming King. Shalom!
