The Root of Walking with God
Human beings are born and raised naturally to be independent of God which is the premise for sin and wickedness. Just as it was in the days of Noah that all men were corrupt in the sight of God and all the thoughts and endeavors of men were terrible wickedness which grievously tormented the heart of God. So is the lifestyle of men worldwide today despite their commitment to religions!
“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Gen. 6:8KJV)
To walk with God is to be in a friendly relationship with Him who is holy and in whom there is no iota of darkness! By implication, such an individual must be holy and be free of darkness, for where there is no agreement of nature friendship is not possible except unequal yoke which will just be a make-believe or pseudo relationship. This kind can never be found with God!
The root of a man walking with God is GRACE which pulls one out of other sinners, pluck out the nature of sin and plant the new heart and the new spirit within and permits the Holy Spirit to rule such heart to do God’s bidding. This cannot be self-made, neither can it be carnally produced by impatient soul evangelist, nor by associating with a sect, or group of the saints. It is a miracle that God gives to whoever He chooses in mercy.
