Romans 3:10–11 KJVS [10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: [11] There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Maybe your wondering why I choose that title? Maybe it’s because of its desert loneliness in the Christian faith. That as soon as a Pastor preaches on holiness, we yell legalism! It put us in bondage to the law of God, all types of blasphemous statements.

Which are all misunderstood aspects of our faith. True holiness only comes from God, as he alone is Trice Holy! Beyond comparison or comprehension of others.

Isaiah 6:3 KJVS [3] And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
  • The Hebrew for Holy is (קדושׁ-qâdôsh) {kaw-doshe’} which means one who is sacred morally or ceremonially set-apart for “righteous” lifestyle and conduct. In Hebrew literature when a Jew wants to make a point, he repeats himself three different times, like in the above verse. In America, when we want to make a serious point we raise our voice.

This single reference from the Old Testament is one of many that reveals to us God’s perspective on everything pertaining to life and mans existence. That God is holy, meaning that he is perfect and sinless. He possesses moral perfection a quality of His divinity. For God to be God, he must be perfect.

Once we began to understand God’s holiness we see how miserably we fail in comparison to Him. That we cannot even compare ourselves to God, he is unparalleled without an equal match.

Proverbs 30:5–6 KJVS [5] Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. [6] Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

His ways are not ours. Everything he does is based upon love, holiness and grace. His love is extended to us in our sin through Jesus, while God’s holiness must hate and punish sin. His grace forgives and offers salvation from sin, to all who come to Him in faith alone, in repentance.

Isaiah 55:6–9 KJVS [6] Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: [7] Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord , and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. [8] For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord . [9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

We should always trust God’s provision for our daily necessities in life whether it’s to take care of our family or to accomplish a dream everything is done in his timing not ours. That my friends is the hard part, being patient while remaining in faith trusting God without wavering.

Without God’s holiness we wouldn’t know right from wrong, because its because of His holiness we have moral responsibilities and accountability to each other. In a optimistic way, of how we live together while practicing our faith with each other and strangers.

Leviticus 19:1–2 KJVS [1] And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, [2] Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.

Love is the number one thing that drives us in serving God with our lives. We must accept his absolute moral truth as our buckler. His word is our sword to fight off the enemy, while defending the innocent. The war we fight is spiritual which cannot be seen with the natural eye. It takes an eye of discernment to see the moral truth of God, in everything not as in pantheism but as in theism.

Ephesians 6:10–11 KJVS [10] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. [11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

We must not run from holiness but embrace it whole heartedly through faith in Christ. Jesus is our holiness we are sanctified though faith in Christ the anointed one. He is the Messiah. Jesus lived a perfect life. Yet he chooses to live self-sacrificially while denying the “lust of the flesh”, the sins of man. Just like Moses did, when he accepted Gods call on his life. So can you!

Hebrews 11:24–27 KJVS [24] By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; [25] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; [26] Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. [27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

This is exactly why we must live Holy lifestyles as Christians. The problem with Christianity is we have way to many believers, but not enough “followers” of Jesus.

I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.

We need to focus more on practicing what we preach instead of the contradictory opposite. We are going to impact people in such a powerful way once we actually progress from just making Jesus as Savior to actually making him Lord of our lives. It’s when we fully submit to Jesus’s teaching, about the One True God. In full submission to Yahweh. That we experience his life changing salvation! Jesus said I come to give you life and life more abundantly.

John 8:58 KJVS. [58] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

My goal is to help you progress down the right path. You can start today by making Jesus your Lord, by fully surrendering to Him alone. I pray that you would. Stop procrastinating your faith. Remember what Jesus said in the garden?

Luke 22:39–43 KJVS [39] And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. [40] And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. [41] And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, [42] Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. [43] And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

You can make that same prayer today, “Father not my will, but yours be done”.

Will you pray with me? Lord I pray that whoever is reading this, you would touch powerfully with your presence and reveal to them how much you love them Father and that you would strengthen them through your grace to fully surrender their life to you in complete submission to your love.

In Jesus name amen!

He did this just for you and you can’t submit your life for him?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
