Thank You
I don’t know the results, but I know I’m grateful.
Primary Day has come and gone, and I overflow with gratitude.
Thank you to the residents of the Third District who invited me onto their porches, their community events, and their zoom calls. Meeting and connecting with you, and exchanging our visions for our community has given me so much hope.
Thank you to my fellow candidates. Jessica, Hannah, and Charlie — as first time candidates, we gave it our all because of our shared love of this District.
Thank you to the voters who braved a new voting system, in the midst of everything else going on. These past six months have challenged us, and your dedication to democracy bodes well for Lexington’s future.
Thank you to my supporters: those who gave me their votes, their time, and their talents.
We will learn the results in a few days. But, win or lose, I look forward to continue the work I’ve done for a decade in this city to build a strong, equitable, and just Lexington.
