How A Typical Day Can Look For Me

Some Nights, I Don’t Get Enough Sleep Due To Dystonia (pain and stiffness in my legs)

There’s nothing new with me having Parkinson's, but for the past months, I have been suffering from some extreme muscle pain and stiffness, especially in my legs. According to my Neurologist, it’s Dystonia, and I knew that could be a worse deal in my progression.

But as the person I am, a positive and creative one, I’m not letting that stop me (Too much at least). No, I use those awake hours for reading on my Kindle and taking notes on what I read, see, and hear. So here is a day when I wake up at 3 a.m. and can’t go back due to the pain I have in my legs.

A Typical Day In My Life

3:07 A.m. Waking up with pain, taking extra dosages of Dopamine. Getting out of bed.

3:11 to about 7:00 a.m., the pain remains. But during this time, I also do this

  • Walking around in the apartment
  • Listening to my Japanese course.

I sit down in my comfy chair in the living room.

  • Reading on my Kindle
  • Doing some analog notetaking
  • Dozing off some, but not sleeping
