A Warning

This article assumes a world in which the father of Jesus is the archangel Gabriel who has fallen and involved himself in the affairs of man. He has taken the name Simon and has been working with his other son, John the Baptist, since Jesus and his mother went missing some years ago. They have been building John’s following while waiting for the return of Jesus.

Finally, Jesus shows up, gets baptized, and retreats to the desert with his father. While there, Jesus agrees to play the part of the high priest in his father’s scheme.

Later, Jesus meets the rest of the team, and they begin their tour at the Capernaum synagogue, where Simon plays the part of a demon-possessed man who Jesus then exorcises. The crowds go crazy.

Healing Simon’s Mother-In-Law

Finally, the troupe arrives at Simon’s house in Capernaum.

29 And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.
31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them
