Be Glorious in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang!
We have to admit that many of us loves to have some fun playing online games in solo play or with our friends. And with a strategical Multi-player Online Battle Arena kind of a game you’ll sure be hooked up with it for hours. This category of game was first introduced in a PC and a lot of gamers find it great to measure one’s skill of a real player when it comes to the gamers reaction time, critical thinking and strategies to win the game. Nevertheless, it’ll measure ones’ sportsmanship which is a true quality of a real gamer.
When we are all having fun playing several MOBA games on PC, some genius minds sought to have MOBA published on mobile platforms. Well, I have to admit that I didn't see it coming at first. Like, who would have thought that a MOBA game on a PC that requires a high specification of PC system will work on a mobile platform with a good quality and works perfectly the same as what we have on a PC. Now this is what we call a game changer!
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was created by Moontoon and was released last November 2016 in Philippines. It is currently available for free on Play Store for Android and App Store for IOS. This game is a real-time strategy game where a player controls his desired character in the battle field. The objective of the game is to destroy the opponents base by killing enemy heroes, turrets and defending your own towers from minions that periodically spawns from both teams’ bases. And oh, minions are not the real deal, you have to make sure as well to defend your bases from your not-so-hater opponents.
Basically, when you first download the game it will lead you to create your username and will give you tons of tutorials for you to fully understand the game. But as they say “players don’t read game instructions” –who needs tutorials anyway? But then it’s there for some who were not hooked to this MOBA game before it was launched in mobiles.
So after the tutorials, it’ll basically lead you to the home page of the game. It’ll give you a lot of options to view your profile, to shop for characters, to change the settings and to select your game modes.
Mobile Legends has five different game modes that include ranked match, brawl mode, match-up mode and human vs AI. Match-up mode and human vs AI are already available after the tutorial while you can unlock the brawl mode at level 3, ranked mode at level 6, and custom mode at level 7.
You also have tons of options to select for your heroes. Like on PC heroes the characters on Mobile Legends have different roles depending on what suits you best. You can either buy them using in-game credits or by topping up your account.
As you get along with the game you’ll see your progress and the stats that you have accomplished. There are several quests that you can obtain for you to collect in-game credits as well as other items that will be used to give you more advantage in the game such us emblems and abilities.
Emblems and abilities are used to make your heroes much more equipped in the battlefield. It’ll give you more advantage to be able to win the game. Every time you level-up your emblems and crafts it will give you instant buffs and extra stats depending on what category it falls. So, the more you play the more chances you’ll receive in-game credits and emblems. But it’s not just about playing, the games’ objective is about winning.
The great thing about this game though is that it provides you quick access to communicate with your friends through syncing your account with your Google, Facebook or VK accounts. You can chat them after you have synced your account or even invite them to play with you and conquer the opponents base. This game also provides rankings which is very interesting since as a player we want to have a competition. Like what’s the point of fighting for nothing? Fight along with your friends and be glorious!
As a player like me who loves to play MOBA games, this one is a piece of cake. It has easy controls, nice navigations and great gameplay. Although the game was unstable at first probably because network issues and compatibility issues it is still a good game. There’s still a lot of things to modify especially with the network stability of the game. The graphics is good and the sound effects are no-doubt amazing.
This one is what I can call a game changer, like who would have to thought that a MOBA can be downloaded to a mobile platform that will fit your pocket, it saves you space and the hustle to wait to go home to play. Now, you can play while waiting for someone, while commuting or even in a park with your friends. Indeed, a game changer! What are you waiting for? Give it a try, test your skills and be glorious!
