DADDY LONG LEGS | How long will you last?

Daddy Long Legs is a patience testing kind of game by Set Snail. It may be easy at first look but it’s difficult to play. The objective of Daddy Longs Legs is somehow simple, walk as distant as you can. But, with legs 5 times longer than the rest of your body, walking is not easy.

In this game, you need to control a slender man-like character. Also, each of the character’s legs is more like 5 times the length of its body. Obviously, daddy long legs has some trouble in walking.

That’s where you start playing. Tap the screen to switch between Daddy Long Legs’ legs and make him walk as far as you can and not fall flat on his face. It may sound simple, but the level of difficulty is too high. It’s challenging in much the same way. In order to walk farther, you must estimate when to tap. Be sure to tap immediately because the character’s legs stiffens when it’s not moving.

Here’s the more exciting part. Daddy Long Legs can change his costume too. Every time you play the game, you could get gifts with costumes or coins inside. The costumes may be common, rare and ultra rare if you’re lucky enough.

The game play, the level design, and the graphics of this game are very pleasing to the eyes. Set Snail did a great job on choosing color palettes, costume names and creating the game as a whole.

Daddy Long Legs may be annoying because you keep on falling a lot but trust me, this is addicting. So grab your phones, visit the app store or play store and download this game. You’ll surely love this!

ALTO | An endless snowboarding odyssey

In the world of mobile games, everyone wants something that usually has easy controls, easy to understand, enjoyable and especially has good visuals.
With a rating of 4.5 stars in Google Play, we introduce Alto Adventures. It is a one player mobile game that showcases snowboarding developed by a Toronto-based, three –person development team called the Snowman that is handled by Ryan Cash (Director), Jordan Rosenberg (Producer) and Harry Nesbitt (Programmer/Artist). The game was released on February 19, 2015 initially for iOS but Alto’s Adventure was also released for Android last February 11, 2016 and it was deployed on Windows platform last July 8, 2016.

The player-character automatically moves to right of your device’s screen through landscapes. The player must tap the screen for the character to jump and perform tricks. To make the game more enjoyable, the developers made goals and requirements for the player to achieve, high scores to compete and upgrades. The player has the right when to control or let the character jump just like holding the screen while the character is in midair to perform tricks like back flips. 180 goals in the game are given by threes or must be completed by threes. You must achieve those goals to receive awards like coins to upgrade and even unlock a new character with different specialty on tricks! (We spilled something we shouldn’t.) This game also calculates distance you traveled so far and the combo trick you’ve performed in order to get points. In regarding to goals, some examples are catching llamas, perform combo tricks, to jump a chasm and even escaping an elder! (This character will chase you when you disturb her sleep. In the game, at least someone is chasing you and not you chasing someone else.)

The more enjoyable part of the game is the visuals especially the landscapes where you can see the change in lighting. An example is that you could play from sunrise to sunset also with weather issues like thunderstorm and snow. It could be addictive to every age and we suggest that you should play this game in your leisure time.

BATTLE CATS | Things That Make You Go Meow

Launched in 2012, “The Battle Cats” is a tower defense game made solely because the developer “simply loved cats”. It is more than a tower defense game, though. There’s more to the “story”. It’s all superfluous, crazy, silly, and fun that can be played by anyone (even by non-cat lovers).

PONO’s game got all its charm and is very enjoyable. Yes, it’s your regular tower defense game, but there are a couple of key twists: there are cats, but the player also focuses more on sending his cat units from your Cat Base. Levels get difficult by the chapter of the “stories”.

The cats are the main stars of the game. They are the weirdest cats you’ll ever encounter in a mobile game. There are funny, intimidating, creepy, and most of the time, out of this world looking cats. The developer’s imagination is the limit. The most exciting part for me is evolving the cats to unlock abilities and see their true forms. The enemies, however, don’t fail to lose the spotlight: dogs, snakes, gorillas, kangaroos, hippos, camels, and even aliens! There are a variety of enemy types to fight in Battle Cats. There are lots of things to upgrade and explore throughout the game: monthly and collaboration events, cat fruits to evolve your cats, GAMATOTO the explorer, and daily rewards.

Overall, the game is not in so deep. Exciting levels, cute and weird cats, and more will accompany your journey through the game. Everyone should try it. Battle with cats and save the world!
