Plants vs. Zombies is a game where you have the Plant’s seeds to be planted on your lawn and making them to protect you and your house from zombies who wants to eat your brain. The first time tried playing it, I am having a hard time to cope up with the game itself. I am just an amateur player back then. Of course I am still not that skilful to handle the game. Well, we knew from ourselves that we are not good at every first times we encounter in our lives. Given that the first three stages are just for the beginner’s tutorial of the game. But after that, the lawn has already five rows instead of three rows. I am having a trouble killing the zombies because I am putting the fighter plants very far the end of the rows and making the zombies to eat the plants immediately. The other reason is I am just placing these plants wherever I want and ended up to defeat. But for every defeat, I have learned a new strategy which made my lawn defense much stronger than before. As the game moves on, you will get a new Plant seed that can help you on the next level and there are new zombies that you may encounter. To make the game more interesting, zombies are not only trying to invade your house day and night through your lawn but also through your pool and even through your rooftop. In the end of the Adventure part of the game, you will encounter the person in charge of the zombie attacks on your home — Dr. Zomboss. After that, the credits and the PVZ Official Soundtrack will play. If you choose to play Adventure game mode again, your neighbour Crazy Dave randomly picked three Plant seeds which is recommended for the level. This is something new and it puts thrill to the game. If I am bored playing the Adventure game mode, I will play the Mini-games game mode next. The game objectives are still the same but this time, you are like being put in to different and difficult situations. All you have to do is to adapt into these situations and survive until the end. Every level accomplished has coin rewards in the end of the game. In the Puzzle game mode, there are two different of gameplay. One is to play as the protector of the house or the other one is to play as the zombies. On the gameplay of the protector of the house, there are vases displayed on the screen. Some vases contain Plant seeds and some contain zombies. The game will end if all the vases are broken and all the zombies are killed. On the other gameplay, there are Plants displayed on the screen and there are brains located on the very near side of the row. The game will end if all of the brains were eaten by the zombies. My tip for this one is to target first all the Sunflowers and make a modus operandi on how the zombies are going to make it to the very near side of the row to eat all the brains. In the Survival game mode, you have to survive in the game whether the zombies are attacking day and night through your lawn, pool or rooftop. The game ends if you could make up to five flag waves of the zombies. The Survival Hard is up to 10 flags. So, if I were you, I would plan ahead on how to strengthen my defense from the beginning until the last flag wave. Overall, the Plants vs. Zombies game is fun to explore especially to the kids. It helps build the kid’s critical thinking, situation understanding and adapting and strategic planning.
