So there’s this game installed in my phone that really annoys me big time but I can’t remove because somewhere, a part of me is saying.. rather shouting.. “no! not yet! you can’t lose to this specimen self. believe in comeback. comeback is real.” Lol

Mum Not Proud is an Android developer, probably Mexican, and currently has one game in Google Play and that is BAIKOH. It was launched on September 5, 2016 and is one of the popular apps on Google Play with more than 500k installs with an average rating of 4.46. It’s FREE, yeah FREE but has In-app purchases which costs 50–500 PHP. You also sometimes have to watch ads though because he has to make income to feed his dev monkeys. Its latest update was on September 21, 2017 which includes the Online Versus Matches and 5 new languages were added.

Tetris dynamics mixed with Scrabble action.” BAIKOH is a word typing game. This game is made with Unity game development platform, including LeanTween engine. This game is obsessively crafted with love and sort of wants to kill you. It’s what he said. It feels that I must warn you to watch out for 94% sarcastic humor. The game is available on both Android and iOS. You can play it in 7 different languages.

How do we play BAIKOH?

Type words quickly in order to keep playing. Write words by tapping tiles that randomly fall from the top of your screen. Each tile has a letter so… you’re getting the idea, genius. (I’m sorry everyone but he talks like that.) Watch out for traps. He’s really evil. Examples of the traps are the Giants that has the size of 9 normal tiles and will really take some space and the Icicles which freezes the adjacent tiles, making them stick together and stop the next ones that fall over them. Once the tiles reach the top of the screen, it’s the end of the game. Don’t worry, you can use badges, which can be Manual or Automatic, to keep you alive. Some of them are the Chomp and the First Aid Kit. The Chomp badge eats the column with the highest stack of tiles in your screen. You know, nom nom nom. The First Aid Kit clears all traps, healing any effect inflicted by them. You can also boost your badges for bad-ass defense. BAIKOH offers one revive per game, which allows you to be back at the game but it will cost you Baikoins (super unique name they got right there). Baikoins is actually the points you get when you score at the game. The badges also cost baikoins but they’re not that expensive.

There are two game modes in BAIKOH — Solo and Zen. Solo is really where the action actually happens while Zen is somewhat like a space to practice your word-finding skills so that you can handle the pressure of playing Solo. It also has VERSUS MODE where you can play online with your friends and make them suffer by sending them bombs, boulders, etc. You can add them by their ID or from Facebook.

Stick to these rules and you’ll be alright:

1. PERFECT WORDS ONLY. Make sure you spelled the words correctly. You can only misspell twice. If you misspell 3 times, the game is over. Also, abbreviations, acronyms, slangs, names, institutions, contractions, science terms, onomatopoeias and sound effects are invalid. You can correct typos by tapping or dragging.

2. SIZE DOES MATTER. The longer, the better. You can receive bonus points if you submit 5-letter words or more.

3. Write with love, like a tender lover. ;)

It doesn’t look like it but I really like this game. This sassy b — aby summons my competitive side every time. I can’t even hate it. It’s entertaining, challenging, and is pleasant to the eyes because of its minimalist graphics. The level design is great, from the chosen colors down to the animations. It’s ideal to play everywhere. Just don’t try to play this at work because you may say that you’ll just play for a minute and end up being jobless. What I really love about it is that it’s really honest. And sarcastic. And smart. And such a bully. Maybe I’ll rate and write a review after posting this.

I recommend you to install this app and start spelling. Having war with your siblings is not enough. Start a war with your friends, too. Ha Ha! You’ll love the developers behind this.

You can find everything on their website. CLICK ME and we’ll get there.

The complete tutorial can be found on the main screen of the game. That 5th gray button with a question mark icon with “Tutorials” labeled on it. ez

And oh by the way, you can find the developer’s address on the internet just in case you want to ‘pay a visit’. Don’t forget to invite me on Versus Match!
