With the Cielo Smart Thermostat, you can easily schedule your home temperature according to what works best for you and let it handle the rest. This smart device offers 4 default presets, including Home, Away, Pets, and Sleep, that you can use to set a schedule. For instance, when going out, you can turn your thermostat 7–10 degrees back from your usual settings using a thermostat setback approach. According to the Department of Energy, you will save as much as 10% on your bills if you set back your thermostat for 8 hours every day. If your set schedule changes at any time, for instance, you have a late meeting at work and can’t make it home on time, you can make instant changes using the Cielo Home app. You can also use the Hold feature that the Cielo Smart Thermostat offers to override your schedule and maintain a specific temperature for as long as you want. For example, if your meeting is till 10 pm, you can set your thermostat to hold your set temperature till then. This ensures that your HVAC isn’t heating/cooling an empty house, minimizing your energy consumption.
