On June 4th, the CINDX development team attended the prominent Binance Meetup Moscow Event, which played host to a large number of presentations organized by the Binance Exchange.
The event started off with Diego Gonzalez, Binance Development Manager, talking about the future plans of Binance. He noted that the company is striving to become not only an exchange, but an ecosystem providing a broader range of services. The public was worried about the latest restrictions on the countries that Binance had included on the main website of its DEX. Ted Lin, Binance Development Director, and Diego Gonzales noted that the exchange was forced to work within the framework of existing legislation, but noted one loophole. The Trustwallet and Smartwallet wallets that support integration with the Binance DEX allow users from blocked countries to perform transactions on the platform.
Among the projects that presented their products at the event were the Matic Network and the QuarkChain project. The panel discussion revolved around the development of regulation and cryptocurrency in general.
The CINDX team also had the pleasure of meeting Ted Lin, with whom they discussed the development of the secondary infrastructure, namely the CINDX platform. Ted assured the CINDX team that support from Binance Labs can be ensured after submission of the relevant application. He also noted that Binance is moving away from the rule of supporting only projects developed by the blockchain infrastructure.
The development of critical elements for CINDX, namely the API, was also part of the discussion. Dissatisfaction with the current speed and flexibility of the API was expressed by many of those present at the event, and the question regarding future improvements from a CINDX representative was among the most important.
To the dismay of many present, Ted Lin assured that Binance is not aiming at developing high-frequency (HFT) trade and does not plan to allow it. He also said that Binance does not plan to provide any kind of preferences to corporate clients. And though the exchange is losing part of the profits, this ensures equal conditions for all participants.
The Binance Meetup Moscow Event was a prominent event that played host to a large number of industry experts, who shared their vision of the crypto industry in 2019. Among the attendees were Dmitry Ufaev, head of The Bitfury Group in Russia, Ted Lin, Binance Development Director, Siddhartha Jain, Vice President of marketing and communications of the Matic Network, Ting Du, Business Development Director of QuarkChain, Artem Goryunov, a TrustWallet developer, Stepan Gershuni, blogger and blockchain expert, Timur Abushkin, cryptoinvestor and former vice president of JP Morgan Chase in Russia, Alexey Shulzhenko (Alexey Shulzhenko), CMO of TradingView, Dmitry Zhulin, co-founder of Insolar, Evgeny Zapolsky, representative of the Top Traders community, Aleksei Antonov, co-founder of SONM.
The CINDX team was very pleased with the results of its attendance at the Binance Meetup Moscow and had the opportunity of establishing contacts and working relations with a number of the attendees. Stay Tuned for more news and updates from CINDX.
