Here is the latest in our series of articles explaining the legal basis of our project activity. The next license which we would like to introduce is the license of the financial consultant.
25.05.2018 CINDX has obtained a termless operating licence (the FFA 000254 license) that gives the right to operate as a financial institution. The licence was granted by the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), an independent structural unit of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board.
This document gives the right to carry out the activities of a non-bank financial institution. Here are the actions that the license grants CINDX permission to do:
- lease deals;
- payment services in the field of electronic currencies;
- delivery and administration of non-cash means of payment, for example, electronic means;
- payments, e-money, traveller’s checks and accounts;
- transactions on the issuance of guarantees and sureties, as well as other transactions related to obligations;
- transactions and operations related to the issue and sale of securities;
- financial consultation to clients concerning their economic activity;
- brokerage activity in the monetary market;
- real estate management, and consultations in the sphere of investments;
- storage and management of securities.
In conclusion, CINDX has been granted the basis to provide all kinds of activities, which can be necessary to legally implement the functions within the platform.
