“गाली” — Says Tapsi Paanu to Vineet Kumar when she hits the Bulls-Eye aka “Saand ki Aankh”.

“Saand Ki Aankh” is a Tribute to Real Life Heroes, Chandro Tomar (played by Bhumi Padnekar) and Prakashi Tomar (played by Tapsee Pannu), nicknamed Shooter Dadi and Revolver Daadi, who are octogenarian sharpshooters from the village of Johri in the Bagpat district of Uttar Pradesh.

The movie shows how the Daadi-Duo in-spite of being born and brought up in the midst of a society suffering from Severe Patriarchy and prejudiced with ethnocentrism, manage to fulfill not only their own dreams but the dreams of their daughters too, and finally rise to unimaginable heights!

It's an inspirational movie. Bhumi and Taapsee are in great form as grandmothers, who are willing to do anything to inspire and help their granddaughters. The two leading ladies carry the film on their shoulders effortlessly. Their indomitable spirit shines through even when the going gets tough. The life of Daadi-Duo has all the dimensions of a Freedom-Struggle and the movie has successfully shown it with good intensity along with humor.

And, that is what makes this movie a complete family entertainer. Do not miss this movie. Watch it with your entire family and I am sure you won’t regret it.
