Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you may have heard about the recent box office phenomenon known as “Barbenheimer.” NBC News explains, “Both “Barbie,” released by Warner Bros. Pictures, and “Oppenheimer,” released by Universal Pictures, blew away box office projections. “Barbie” broke records during its opening run, making $155 million from more than 4,200 locations in the U.S. and Canada. “Oppenheimer” also outperformed predictions and pulled in $80.5 million from more than 3,600 locations in the U.S. and Canada.

The stars of these two movies have helped contribute to their success. “Barbie” stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. While “Oppenheimer” stars Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt. While I’ve seen both movies and think they are both wonderful in their own right, I’m not here to tell you to go out and see them for yourself.

No, I’m here to sing the praises of the star of one, Mr. Cillian Murphy.
