I loved Mabel Elmsworth from her very first scene. The wild and carefree lesbian character’s storyline was handled with such grace and authenticity that it deserves a standing ovation. Mabel’s journey to self-acceptance and love was one of the most poignant arcs of the season. Her relationship with her love interest was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. The show didn’t shy away from the challenges they faced, and for that, we’re grateful.
