Robert McCall is a regular man making things right in his own way. As many try to make sense of his background and intentions, he questions the world and the meaning of justice. He works to save various people around him, including Alina ‘Teri’ (Chloë Grace Moretz), Ralphie (Johnny Skourtis), Ralphie’s mom (Luz Mery Sanchez), and Jenny (Anastasia Mousis Sanidopoulos).

He works a regular job at a Home Mart establishment, but after befriending Alina, known as Teri, he makes a decision to help protect her from the people she works for. He fights for those who can’t fight for themselves.

He kills Slavi (David Meunier) and his men after his attempt to pay for Teri’s release is received poorly. This scene attracts the attention of many. Unbeknownst to Robert, this good deed led him to be up against greater forces like Teddy “Nicolai” (Marton Csokas), who works for Vladimir Pushkin(Vladimir Kulich), a major player involved with the Russian mafia.

Robert takes a moment to visit his friend and former agency mate, Susan (Melissa Leo). He questions why he cares so much about Alina before saying…
