How It Works

Stanton is a pretty busy place — and Room 609 is an after school magnet for an always growing list of student activities, clubs and more. As a film student you have first priority for booking the space for your needs and clubs.

Here is how you do that.

1. Log in to the shared film Google account (filmatstanton@gmail.com) and use the “calendar” app to find the date and time that you would like to claim. I’ve synced to the Stanton school calendar to ours so that can see scheduled school events.
2. Create an event that does not overlap with an already existing booking unless you have discussed and agreed with the priorly scheduled organizers. Be sure to give it a specific name, description, contact and start and end time.
3. You may have repeat events / bookings but please be kind and courteous by not repeating events every week for more than 1 month without prior approval.
4. No Wednesday bookings on “Early Dismissal” days without prior approval.
5. No Friday bookings without prior approval — except Ping Pong club.
6. If your event / booking is not listed or added to the calendar 48 hours in advance it probably won’t happen. It is your responsiblity to claim the space in a timely fashion.
7. No events after 4:30 without prior approval.
8. No changing the Google account password please. That’s so rude.
