Dear Circle Medical patients,

For the safety of our patients and staff, our providers are seeing patients exclusively via video visits this week. We have increased the number of available appointments to accommodate your medical concerns.

Video visits are a great way to safely see your provider for your day-to-day medical needs during this period of isolation. Here are some examples of things we can do over video:

  • General medical questions
  • Doctor’s notes
  • Triaging symptoms
  • Writing and refilling prescriptions (controlled substances issued only to patients we’ve seen previously in person)
  • Ordering laboratory tests, X-rays, referrals
  • Stress, anxiety and depression help
  • Preventive care and annual wellness exam
  • Covid-19 assessment and coordination with public health or other testing facilities

Video visits happen through the Circle Medical app, and are billed to your insurance like an in-person appointment. This means you will pay your regular copay (or appointment cost if you have a high deductible plan).

If, after your video appointment, your provider determines you need to be seen in person, we will help identify the most appropriate facility for you.

Sincerely,

Tom Ronay, MD
Medical Director
