At Circle Medical, our goal is to make primary healthcare easier and more convenient than ever. Today, we’re announcing two new features to help us do just that.

Appointment summaries

A visit to the doctor’s office can be stressful enough as it is without having to remember all the instructions given by your doctor. Some practices will print them out on paper, which is usually hard to find when you need it — if it doesn’t end up in the garbage.

With appointment summaries, you will have all the information you need, in plain English, right in the Circle Medical app. You will receive a push notification when it is available, typically within one business day of your appointment.

Your appointment summary can include:

  • the date, time and reason for visit;
  • the name of the doctor you saw;
  • vitals such as heart rate, blood pressure and temperature;
  • your diagnosis;
  • recommendations about care and treatment;
  • signs and symptoms to watch for; and
  • medications you were prescribed and dosage.

We quietly launched this feature a few weeks ago. Patient feedback has been very enthusiastic and we are rolling this out today to all our patients.

Secure chat with your care team

We now have an easy way for you to get your healthcare questions answered right from the app. If you are booking your very first appointment with us, your care coordinator can help you with insurance, booking and explain services we do and don’t provide.

After you have seen a Circle Medical doctor, your care coordinator can also answer medical questions or escalate them to your doctor as appropriate. You can:

  • discuss symptoms and decide whether an appointment is necessary;
  • follow up after a visit to let your doctor know how you’re doing;
  • discuss blood, imaging or other tests; or
  • request a prescription refill.

Secure chat is available from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. Sometimes it may take a while to get back to you, but the app will let you know what the estimated response time is. If you’re having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Your chats are private, HIPAA-compliant and appended to your medical record so that your care team can retrieve them in the future.

Our goal is to help you live healthier and provide a better healthcare experience. We are very excited about these enhancements which bring us a step closer to this goal and welcome your questions and feedback atinfo@circlemedical.co.
