Contrary to popular belief, stress is not just an emotional response to a challenging situation. Stress and our reaction to it actually involves a very complex hormone system that includes the adrenal glands and has a direct impact on our health and how we feel.

Join us to learn more about how to improve your stress response system, and balance stress hormones to improve energy, sleep and health. You will leave with at least three skills that will enable you to experience increased resiliency.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a group session?

Group sessions are an effective way to learn about a given topic while surrounded by others who share a common interest.

Each of the two sessions will run approximately 90 minutes long. After having your vitals taken, a limited physical exam and completing a brief insurance requirement, we will move on to an experiential exercise, presentation and Q&A and discussion between participants.

Who will be leading the sessions?

The sessions will be led by Dr. Ilana Seidel, an integrative and family medicine physician at Circle Medical. She will be assisted by guest speakers Erik Lee, a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Dr. Michelle Guchereau, a psychiatrist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of attention issues (ADD/ADHD), depression and anxiety.

What if I don’t want to share much in front of others?

You can share as little or as much as you want. You can always book an individual in-person or video appointment with the physician if you’d like to follow up.
