Balancing the chakras

THE SEVEN CHAKRAS….THESE WHEN WELL BALANCED GIVE ONE A SENSE OF WELL-BEING

A fairly well balanced chakra system gives rise to a happy, healthy, and a very positive person. Such people are generally full of energy and will rarely get bogged down by challenges life throws at them.

There are various techniques to balance our chakras, a commonly accepted definition of chakra balancing is the process through which the energy of the chakra is brought to a well- functioning and harmonious state. When balancing chakras, it is equally important to consider the neighbouring chakras also as the energy flow connects through the whole system.

Chakra balancing techniques fall into 3 categories:those centred on a physical process, a meditative or introspective practice, and transmission of energy from another person or on your own.

Common practices one can apply:

  1. Hands on healing or energy healing
  2. Meditation, chakra meditation, self inquiry
  3. Exercise focused on the connection of body and mind, yoga
  4. Breath work, including pranayama
  5. Holistic or alternative medicine

There are a number of other practices aimed at restoring the balance of the chakra system. The common ones are:

  1. Reiki
  2. Craniosacral therapy
  3. Pranic healing

The use of chakra healing stones or crystal can also support chakra balancing activities.

The very purpose of balancing chakras is to support a balance flow that will sustain our energy levels in our daily life activities and help one deal with stress, tension, and other challenges life throws at us. Everyday life and it’s many experiences does cause stress, anger, feeling let down, feeling fearful, envious, or overwhelmed. At times even the positive feelings such as joy, love, happiness, or satisfaction (when in excess or uncontrolled), if not handled with stability can cause an over actively functioning chakra, this too isn’t an ideal healthy situation. Yes even an emotional imbalance can not only affect the chakras but it can manifest into a physical ailment too.

WARNING SIGNS THAT THE CHAKRAS ARE OUT OF BALANCE

We have seven main energy centers in our body, known as the chakras. Each one of them according to it’s location correlates to specific body function, an ailment or otherwise, each energy center also houses our mental and emotional strengths.

The clearing of the energy helps balance our emotional state of mind and the physical condition too. The Chakra Mind-body balance is a two way street: certain fear and emotions we hold on to manifest in physical restrictions too.

The very easy to identify a chakra’s imbalance is when you notice a dull pain, some kind of stiffness, repeated bouts of emotional outbursts. Energy levels also run low when there’s an imbalance in one or more of the chakras, there is a sense of helplessness, self- destruction, just mere unexplained outburst of some emotion. All these if unattended to manifest as a physical issues in the respective area of the unbalanced chakra.
