Pitch

Following a Pitch frame, I narrowed down a concept description.

Lean Canvas

And identified the main elements of Lean Canvas: Customers, Problems, UVP, Unfair advantage and Revenue streams. Leanstack.com is very good fore visualizing Lean Canvas elements.

In the Circle concept there are two value propositions and a Business Model Canvas:

  1. AI (artificial intelligence) platform that automatically creates a story/a family tree and keeps it in a Museum
  2. A Museum to keep stories and a family tree with a creative approach to change people’s perception of death.

Within the time deadlines I had, I focus on the first one. It was shaped in a mobile app and service that I was going to prototype and test.

Features:

  • capturing your moments — images, videos, notes, etc. — with your smartphone’s cam, Circle or other apps.
  • sharing with Circle from your smartphone cam, apps.
  • syncing with your accounts: Dropbox, Google Drive, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • automatically creating a beautiful time line
  • exporting a whole story or a selected period as a hardcover, book, a movie, a timeline.
  • connecting to a Museum’s displays.

Persona and Journey Map helped to visualize customers’ scenarios.

Brand Identity remained the same as we developed with Why Nots.

With creative designer Alya Shipilova and Vova Samsonov logo, style was updated and presented on Circle web-site.

Prototype

Three different prototypes were made:

  1. Circle Mobile App prototype — 3 iterations
  2. Circle of Life web-page — a concept description with two feedback options.
  3. Sketches of Circle of Life Museum and Circle web-service
